If Israel attacked Lebanon, killing over 1,000 civilians, as a response to Hezbollah’s capturing of 2 Israeli soldiers, why isn’t the United Kingdom launching a ground war into Iran as we speak? I mean really, if Israel’s response was appropriate and justified, the UK will be launching an assault, complete with cluster-bombs that don’t detonate until after the skirmish, within the next 72 hours.
Maybe they should…
The point was that similar situations occurred, yet one country has acted rationally thusfar (Britain) while the other – like a rabid dog – launched an invasion, and lost.
xfacktor,
are you really that stupid? The British soliders were hundreds of miles away from Britain, allegedly in Iranian waters (probably made up by Iran as a reason for capturing them). Hezbullah, unprovoked, attacked Israel and invaded Israel’s internationally accepted borders. If you think Israel lost and Hezbullah won, then Lebanon can have that type of victory any time (hundreds dead, south lebanon looking like Hiroshima, minimal damage to Israel). Your logic is reason why Europe is becoming Eurabia and too cowardly to ever stand up to Muslims, while America and Israel refuse to cave into Islamofascists and prosper.
